Container Handling Equipment Driver MSO

Location: Felixstowe

Salary: Competitive

This is a full-time, permanent contract working 45 hours per week Shift Rotation

Pentalver is an award winning container logistics company with over 30 years’ experience. We are currently recruiting for Container Handling Equipment Driver MSO to join our team in the Felixstowe. As a Container Handling Equipment Driver MSO you will be responsible for checking containers are suitable for general use, securing and unloading loads safely and in line with company safe systems procedures/customer requirements.

Key responsibilities of the Container Handling Equipment Driver MSO:


  • Ensure vehicles are serviced with the correct container in a timely manner.
  • Ensure containers are stacked in accordance with safe system, in a safe manner
  • Ensuring good traffic flow at the loading/unloading area
  • Continually communicate with yardmen and container control, to ensure efficient working and accuracy in terms of the correct availability on time
  • Ensure hazardous containers are stacked separately.
  • Ensure Containers for collection are located and readily available for visiting hauliers and in house shunters.
  • A versatile and flexible approach to work, working as a team to achieve department targets for completion of jobs to customer requirements.
  • Maintain health and safety standards within your own working area and looking out for colleagues, customers and visiting drivers, always wear relevant PPE and ensure others are.  Raising any concerns orissues accordingly to your manager or the H&S manager.  Make yourself aware of risk assessments and safe systems of work for your area.
